Questions

Is this a replacement for Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test?

Google retired its Mobile-Friendly Test in December 2023. This free test covers the same ground (viewport, text size, tap targets, content wider than the screen) and adds checks for cut-off text, overlaps and broken images, each explained in plain language.

Which phone does it use?

A 390×844 screen in Chrome, the size of an iPhone 14 or 15 and close to most current Android phones. A free account tests 5 screen sizes, and paid plans add Safari, Firefox and every size from 320 to 1920px.

Do I need an account?

No. You can run a few free tests without one. An account gives you 5 checks a day on 5 screen sizes, screenshots with every problem marked, and PDF reports.

Is my test private?

The result has a private link that only you get. We don’t list it anywhere or index it in search engines.
